Gayle Garner Roski is one of the exhibiting artists in the California Art Club’s 107th Annual Gold Medal Exhibition at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County, on view from June 10 to July 1, 2018

For this highly anticipated display of contemporary-traditional fine art, Roski created a painting of the famed museum for inclusion in her “Los Angeles Millennium 2000 to 2010” series. In the work, simply titled Natural History Museum, she made the museum’s extensive paleontological exhibition come to life, placing dinosaurs in the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, one of the museum’s neighbors in Exposition.
