Roski Travels to Guatemala with Operation Walk
Gayle Garner Roski recently traveled to Guatemala with a dedicated group of volunteers with Operation Walk, which gives the gift of mobility to those in need of hip and knee replacements.
Her role was to document in paintings the valiant efforts of the surgeons, nurses, physical therapists and other medical professionals, who performed more than 50 surgeries and provided both pre-op and post-op care, including physical therapy.
Her paintings will soon be published in a book that illustrates how Operation Walk gives its patients a second chance at life.
