New Work

Gayle Garner Roski’s newest watercolor paintings spotlight imagery that has captivated her imagination and her heart.  Her recent works include a series of paintings created while she accompanied a group of dedicated volunteers with Operation Walk to Guatemala. Her role was to document the journey of Rogelio Estrada, whose legs were bowed so badly that his friends nicknamed him the “Crooked Man.” Roski’s paintings of Rogelio and his transformation due to his life-changing surgery performed by Operation Walk have been published in the book The Crooked Man, His Doctor and His Angel.
